The MiG-27 is a variable-geometry ground-attack aircraft, originally built by the Mikoyan – Gurevich design bureau in the Soviet Union and later licence-produced in India by Hindustan Aeronautics as the Bahadur. It is based on the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 fighter aircraft, but optimized for air-to-ground attack. Its top speed is 1885 km/h and IAF currently have 44 units in service. And it’s range is 2500/kmh.
